Last night...blessed sleep.
All three chickies were tucked in and asleep from about 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
And mommy was so so happy this morning.
Good sleep just makes everything a little brighter, doesn't it?
I have so much I want to make, so many books I want to read..
so many new goodies I want to play with (thanks, October Afternoon!!)
case in point:
But I'm not reading, or sewing, or being crafty at all.
I'm just playing with the girlies, some days recovering from the night before,
some days just being together.
Maybe in a day or two there will be time to make something...
because after all, it is creating that keeps Mommy sane.
It's creating that makes Mommy "Mommy" and not
some psycho raving lunatic.
Until I have something fun to share,
I will leave you with the remainder of my Studio Calico August pages.
Love to you all!
xo
You Need Mommy Time! LOL! I know easier said than done. Hugs Grace

Glad you got some much needed sleep...it really does make a difference! I hear you about the psycho raving lunatic part...that is me when I don't get enough sleep and/or creative time!

I don't know how many times I tell people that my scrapping time makes me appreciate all the other time so much better- that time to reflect and play makes me remember the good moments and not all the chaos. :)
Weirdness- I just added that creative family book to my goodreads yesterday. Let us know how it is- it looks great!
Ok, question for you. I love love love all your self portraits with the girlies... do you have any tips for those? I have a hard time holding up my D40 with one hand to take pics like that... maybe I need to do some working out? heheh
