I'm so glad to hear from all of you! It's wonderful to put a name to my readers.
It's a little overwhelming to get that sort of a response to a RAK. It made me wonder who all was reading. And now I know!!
I'm going to start responding to comments...I'm sort of horrible about that.
I promise you guys I will start doing that.
Well, not on the giveaways, because clearly that would take me hours,
heeeheee!!!
1. Make your way over to Method Playground if you get a chance.
I'm the guest designer this week and I'm hosting a fun challenge.
I'd love it if some of my readers played along!!
Here is my layout I did:
2. I'm reading this book right now:
Well I was until Harper hid it somewhere.
I kid you not.
I have a feeling she is reading it so that she can
tear my carefully constructed discipline plan to shreds.
Note to self: must find book immediately.
3. Tonight is sneak night over at Studio Calico. Pop in if you can!! I know I always say this, but I adore this one. I really do. I've already done 3 layouts and will have glimpses to share tomorrow.
4. Here is what my desk looks like right now:
I'm putting together the kits for my class at Crop Paper Scissors
on Saturday.
Kits are also available for purchase at 254-751-7020.
I'm really excited to teach my first class, but also a tad nervous.
I'm mainly just so excited to hang out with people that love this
hobby like I do!!
Thanks again for saying hi, everyone..
the positive encouragement from you guys never ceases to amaze me.
Thanks so much for your support!
xoxo
s

have a happy day!

Great pictures of the girls! Excited for you and your class! Enjoy! The first time is always more challenging because you don't know what to expect, but you will do wonderful if you just be yourself and enjoy the ladies! By the end of the day you'll be an "old pro" and able to teach anything! Have fun with it! Still praying for you and yours!

You sure did get alot of comments for the giveaway and one of them was me. I do check your blog a few times a week. I have you on Google Reader so it tells me when you update. I found you through scrapbooking and I have a friend whose husband was recently deployed to Afghanistan. She has 3 boys. I really feel for both of you, and you and your family have been in my prayers. Then of course your two cuties are fun to see as well. I'm 39, live in Nashville, have 3 boys (12,6,6). I don't comment often but wanted you to know who was reading! Take care, Michelle

About that class your teaching, I ordered the kit the same day you posted it, when are those going to be shipped because I can not wait to get m y hands on it!

I saw your challenge over at the Method Playground blog and I am photoshopping a couple of photos for it today. Great page you did. Oh how I wish I lived in the USA and could come to your class. I was soooo nervous when I did my first class but the ladies all laughed along with me and I relaxed and had a ball.
Harpers hair looks so light in that photo. I just chopped my DD's (4)hair all short. I love it like that. Have a great day.

Stephanie,
that book is AWESOME! I read it a few months ago (my son is 3 next month), and it has some great ideas. the whole 'choices' thing is great i.e "do you want to go to bed now or do you want to go to bed in 5 minutes?" the philosophy of it really really works. Its easy reading, and sounds really corny and cheesy, but seriously, if you say it like he does (i.e. "oh no!" that one really got to my son, and still gets him to stop whatever it is he's doing wrong), it will work. I think I have 2 copies if you Miss H has decided to hide it away until she's 18 and you need to borrow hee hee.
