This is going to be a super random post.
First, for those of you who are dieting/eating healthy, have you heard of
It is an awesome site...I signed up for the daily emails a few months ago and I have learned so much. I highly recommend it.
My favorite thing in recent history is Hungry Girl's Shopping List.
I have found so many yummy, healthy products through that list.
My favorite thing right now is this muffin mix:
Second, I've ordered a few things off of Etsy that I want to share.
This is what I got Sadie to wear on her birthday...
um, could the monkey be any cuter??
It's a long sleeve tee.

I also ordered this necklace for myself (as a belated Christmas gift).
penelope necklace by my lavaliere
Her shop is absolutely beautiful. I have about half of it bookmarked.
Last, but not least, many of you have asked me about how i tie my bows.
I would do a tutorial, but
a. it's been done elsewhere better than i could ever do it
b. i'm not a tutorial-ish person. too spazzy.
So I shall link you to a tutorial by the fabulous Lisa Pace...
this is exactly how I tie my bows as well. Enjoy. And leave a comment and tell her hi. =)
That's all I've got. Random randomness.
I thought this would be a good time for y'all to ask me any questions you might have.
I think I've answered most that have been asked, but sometimes a few slip through the cracks.
Happy Happy Thursday, sweet friends!

I often read your blog and have only commented once so far. Just wanted to say that I pray often for you as you face the challenges of mothering those two BEAUTIFUL little girls on your own and for the protection of your husband as he bravely fights so far away. Thank you for your sacrifices!

OK....I have some questions for you!
How did you become such a good photographer? Take a class? Self taught? Where did you begin??
Can you show us more pictures of your home and how you decorate. Show some more pics of your mom's home while you are at it!
What type of albums do you use?
What are your 3 favorite colors of cardstock?
I love reading your blog!

I don't know about those Fiber One Muffins...let's just say that the Fiber One Bars (like granola bars) wreaked some serious havoc on my digestive system...they tasted yummy...but man was I in discomfort!! ;)

that necklace is sooo pretty!
I agree with Janie, I would love to see pics of your home decor. It's always fun to see how other artists decorate their homes and to see how much of what they put on paper translates into everyday life.
Hope you guys are having a good day!!

How many days until J comes home? Been thinking about your family.
Also would love the answers to the other comments on your pictures. I have a nice camera, but am sure I'm not getting the most use out of it!

Hey there Steph! I am so excited that I get the chance to meet you IRL in just under 2 weeks. You are so super sweet and I know I am totally gonna like you. :)
That shirt to so flippin' cute. Cannot wait to see Sadie in it. I know she will look totally cute.
I sent you an email a while back about gluten-free foods. Didn't know if you checked it out or if you already knew about it. Let me know if you did and if you like em. I don't have to follow this type of diet personally, but I have often wondered if these types of foods actually taste good.
Okay so questions.....
How are you doing with Weight Watchers? What do you think about the changes to the program? (Andy has mixed feelings himself)
Are you and J gonna have anymore babys?
Have y'all made a decision about if you are going to WA or the East Coast? (is praying you say east coast)
If you could pick any job to be able to do everyday what would is be?
When you move will you rent or sell your house?
Okay I think that should do it for now. LOL.

Hi Stephanie! What kind of camera do you use? Do you edit the pictures for your scrapbook pages? I love the question and answers!
Posted by: Stacey | 01/16/2009 at 08:17 AM
If it's not too personal, how is your dad doing? I remember his car accident & the reconstruction/rehab he faced. What a sweet tee for Sadie - that monkey is too cute! Have a lovely weekend!
Posted by: Carrie | 01/16/2009 at 11:26 AM
I have a question... when do you find time to scrapbook? Do you do it all when the girls are asleep? When do you find time to do housework? (if that's not too personal). I'm in awe of all the things you do... please share some time management tips!

I got my first hungry girl email today! Maybe it will help keep me on track!
I can't think of any questions, but I can't wait for you to answer some of the ones above me!

Thanks for sharing your time and life. You are in my prayers. I would want to know what is in the muffin mix. I tend to stay away from mixes cuz I am very careful about the baking powder used. I don't use the kind with aluminum. I use Rumford Baking Powder. Aluminum is linked with loosing our memory. Sometimes we think we are eating healthy but the ingredients aren't really healthy. Thought everyone might want to know bout aluminum linked with Alzheimers Disease. :) Also MSG is what cuzed my chronic headaches. I found a dip Imy family really loved and we all started getting headaches constantly. I heard about MSG linked with headaches and other ailments and stopped eating anything with MSG. The headaches went bye-bye. I am glad I found out.

I asked for info on how you tie your bows...so thank you, thank you!
That is not how I do it, no wonder mine look all loopy, so I learned something new today. Have a great weekend!

Cute stuff you found there! Are you back to Moms day out? And are you connected with some friends to see IRL? I'm still praying for those things for you. I know when you know you'll be moving it might seem pointless, but you were created to be connected, and when your main connection is away you've got to compensate or you can't function at your best. Just sayin'

Oh yay I love question time LOL
1. Who are you looking forward to meeting (or seeing again) when you go to CHA?
2. When J. comes home, what sort of everyday things are you looking forward to most again? (and no my mind is NOT in the gutter LOL)
3. If you could be a member of ANY design team, which would it be?
Thanks Steph :o)
