1. winners
That means the two winners are:
congrats! thats so awesome :)
Please email me your info (stephaniehowell8@gmail.com) and I'll forward it on to Kristen. Thanks for the response! For those of you who were asking where you can purchase LB products, you can find a list HERE.
2. I read yesterday in people about a collaboration between these two:
(chris cornell and timbaland)
And I must admit I'm verrrry curious. I have a major thing for Chris Cornell's voice. I mean, seriously. It's amazing. Like a Stone is one of my favorite songs, his voice is just hot. I'll be honest.
And then Timbaland has produced so many songs I love.
But to imagine them together...well I can't.
Anyone know anything about this?
I think it will either be amazing or just weird.
3. Gearing up for Kelly Goree's classes next weekend. I'm attending the crop (first crop ever?!?!?!) and the two mini album classes. I really hope to see some familiar faces there. For more info, look HERE. The store number is 254-751-7020.
4. JCrew has the spring line up. Yay!! My favorites are
a classic sleeveless white top with scallops at the neckline. what? i love scallops? who knew!!
waaaay too expensive to get, but i love this. i'll keep stalking it and hopefully it will go on sale one day. ;)
adore the bow detail
sigh. ribbons AND pearls. Yes, i'm a prep and proud of it ;)
5. My sweet friend Tania is preparing to teach a new class, a class that is very special and dear to her heart.
It's called "In Loving Memory" and here is what Tania has to say about it:
In Loving Memory by Tania Willis
April 9 - May 7
During this 5-week course (one session per week) Tania will help spur you on to create an album dedicated to a loved one you have lost, all the while encouraging you to be gentle on yourself through the process. She will provide prompts and challenges to help you get your thoughts in order and onto the page, as well as suggestions for selecting photos and how to overcome the dilema of not having many photos at all. In addition, page sketches will be offered and a variety of embellishment techniques will be taught along the way. There's no better way than to complete a treasured project than in the company of a supportive teacher who is on her own journey of remembrance after losing her mom very suddenly and unexpectedly the summer of 2007. “It’s scrapbooking as a healing therapy, not just art.”
Registration is now OPEN here: http://debbiehodge. squarespace.com/in-loving- memory/
Cost: $25

Driving back home from a vacation to Vegas! Lots of homework and maybe even a test on Saturday, but both my husband and I graduate in December, so not much left to go.

hey stephanie...
nothing exciting planned for the weekend, but we did take my daughter to paint pottery yesterday, and we all loved it. i know there's a pottery place next to the scrapbook store in waco, well at least there was when i lived there...you should check it out if you guys have time...my 3 yr old loved painting the egg she picked out (good for easter), and i painted a big plate, and had her hand prints in the middle.

"Normal" weekend for us, since Spring Break was last week. My son's soccer game (just in time for 40 degree weather - brr!), a Bday party on Sun. + church. I'm actually looking forward to being at home and catching up on stuff. (Would you believe 9 loads of laundry for our little family of 4 this week - being away for Spring Break takes its toll!)

You seem so happy Steph, lots of good things going on here, I'm very happy to see you happy :o)
I'll be there for the reveal I gotta get me some Bo-Peep!

Ooooh I've had a "thing" for Studio Calico for quite a while now. And yet... I've never purchased a kit. haha

I love that white shirt with the scalloped neck. It's so scrappy. haha. I think that way now. Drives some people mad and others just give me blank stares. lol. The In Loving Memory class is very interesting to me. I'm wondering if it is an online class or in person. guess I should go read up. The SC kit is sooooooo fab. I love it all. This weekend we are hoping to get outside, it is going up to 15 degrees celsius! Yippee!!!! Spring just might be here. Have a great weekend.
