Gotta love the south!!
The snow is coming down as we speak, but it's not sticking. The girls stood outside in it for a good 20 minutes...heads back, mouths wide open. Until mean mommy made them come in b/c they were dripping wet.
I have a layout to share today! I put it together last night and it came together very quickly. The SC Anthology Collection was perfect for the photo. LOVE the new rubons. LOVE.
all rubons, letters, fabRips, journaling cards=studio calico
punches- stampin up (hearts), martha stewart (border)
well, that's it. just a quick post today. hope you are all staying warm today!
xo
How funny! We moved to North Carolina from Rhode Island and laughed our as*es off when we got a call that the schools (we have no children in the school system here) were shut down 'just in case'...as a matter of a fact, the whole town came to a stand still over 2 inches of snow that quickly melted! This town has many, many older folks that drive horribly anyway and add a little snow on top of that and it's a recipe for disaster-personally I think over the age of 70 you should have to take a driving test every year to keep your license...there are far too many old coots driving big tanks in this town who shouldn't be on the road. Anyway, enjoy your snow day and remind you children no to eat any yellow snow:) lol...(I did once when I was a kiddo:( )

I thought at first that the layout was digital!!
always love your layouts!
I think it's hilarious how everything in the south shuts down! it's more because they don't get enough snow to buy the equipment needed to make sure the streets aren't icy, and people probably panic in it!
I grew up in Upper MI where they get 300 inches a year, so even chicago is nothing to me! we have only had to shovel about 2x per snow season here! it's NOTHING! did you get some pix of the girls in the "snow"?? !LOL!
have a great weekend!

i really really love this page. it's bright and clean and reminds me of that moment when winter slowly changes to spring! (something about the colors and the flowers!)
glad you can have a pretty snowfall...even if it doesn't stick. enjoy it :)

Steph, this is one of my faves from you. It just works so well. Hope the girlies liked their snippet of snow!

I miss living in TN for that very reason. I love that everyone drops everything because it *may* snow. It makes winter a tad more exciting. Around here snow just means getting up an hour earlier so you can snowblow the driveway and clear a path to the box for the mailman.

That's gorgeous! LOVE the rubons! :)

You have so inspired me to pick up some of those rub-on's! I wasn't to sure at first because I'm not as into rub-on's as I used to be. But super cute!

Snow in the south is so much fun!! It comes down, shuts everything down then quickly goes away... currently we are here at Ft Drum experiencing our first winter with snow up to our eyeballs and carrying on life as usual. LOL Enjoy your snow day!

Beautiful LO, love those rub-ons :)

The south is more concerned about the ice that usually comes with the snow. The south doesn't get snow that often and they don't have the trucks etc... to sand everywhere. Kids in the south get really happy when it snows. My friend lives in GA and it is sticking at her house.

Love the Layout...as usual :) And Revere Pewter is my ALL TIME favorite Benjamin Color!! Half of our house is Revere Pewter...and actually all of our house would be revere pewter if my hubby would agree LOL. Thanks for Sharing...

I live in GA and the snow is sticking at my house. It's been a while since we have seen this much snow. Of course it's not a lot of snow if you live up North but for us GA people it is a lot. Hope your girls enjoy the snow, my girls have had a blast!!!

I'm in Syracuse and we haven't gotten the kind of snow accumulation we usually get this time of year! I think it's funny hearing about cities down south closing schools due to an inch or two of snow! I'd gladly trade places :)

We live in North Alabama and I must say that this winter has been a wild ride! We haven't seen this much snow in along time. We got a couple of inches one morning last week and had the best time! Well, my youngest Lilly and me that is. My other two were in school! The snow was gone by the time they got home and I had to show them pics to prove how much snow they missed...they were not happy! Have a blessed week!
