hey y'all!
i want to take a second to tell you about something that is happening right now. something i would LOVE for all of you to participate in. doesn't take much time, much money...just compassion.
and i know my readers have compassion in spades.
i met linda years ago when we were both on the cocoa daisy design team. the girl is incredible. we shared a lot of things, including gchat sessions, a snarky sense of humor, and a love for the shins and for john krasinski.
she's a wonderful mama, a creative soul, and a great friend.
Then one day she woke up with what she thought was the flu. In the blink of an eye she was in the ICU fighting for her life. Over the next several months she fought to overcome pneumonia, collapsed lungs, multiple infections, internal bleeding, organs on the verge of shutting down, blood clots and so much more.
As a consequence, Linda lost both of her feet and all of her fingers.
Tricia (of Cocoa Daisy) is doing a fundraiser to help cover Linda's medical costs.
Please go and read about it here.
If you donate, you can win a trip to Greece, a canvas by Ali, a layout by me, Studio Calico goodies, and LOTS of other things.
Please, please go take a look. Every little bit helps.
Thanks and Happy Wednesday!
