well the pinkalicious party went off without a hitch!
great fun was had by all...especially the party girl.
i had SO much fun too...and no nausea at all yesterday. i'm so very happy i was able to enjoy it and see the happiness on my angel girl's face.
table shots...
tissue flowers from prost to the host
the cupcakes were by tara at lewis jones market here in columbus...
didn't she do an AMAZING job recreating the cupcakes from the book??
marshmallow pops from hostess with the mostess!
the entry table...each kiddo got a gerbera daisy and bubbles for a favor:
the mantel:
pink tulle wound around twinkle lights:
i ripped the heads off of a bouquet of fake gerbera daisies and strung them on the twinkle lights:
and my sweet sweet FOUR year old (as of tomorrow)...harper elizabeth.
shirt by the amazing amy tangerine.
her face when everyone was singing to her almost broke my heart in two:
and if you are in my neck of the woods please PLEASE come by and get some jelly bellies fortheloveofallthatissacred
before we all go into a sugar coma.
much love and pink kisses to you!

Posted by: Debby Schuh | 05/03/2010 at 09:32 AM
Stephanie, first of all.......looks like Harper's Birthday party was AMAZING!!! YOU are awesome!! I LOVED EVERY single one of those pics!!!
You gave me some WONDERFUL ideas and got the gears upstairs turning. Our daughter just turned 16 in April, it passes by SO quickly, but we're going to do a party for her here at our house in July since my family is on the East Coast and my husbands family is in Texas. This way, hopefully, more family, and friends, from afar, can attend. Anyways, we've been trying to come up with nice, creative, but inexpensive ways to create the atmosphere she wants without breaking the bank. I LOVE what you did!!! Yes, our daughter is 16 BUT aren't we all always just little girls at heart???
I subscribe to your blog so I don't usually post comments, NOT for ANY other reason than I'm too lazy to go to the blog since I just read the same thing in my email--which, it's true, I don't keep up on as I should either......but I HAD to comment this time because this post.............AWESOME!!!!!
Happy, Happy 4th Birthday to Miss Harper!!!!! :)

Posted by: Raiscara Avalon | 05/03/2010 at 11:12 PM
You pulled all of that together while dealing with nausea? Dang, woman, you are a legend!

LOL!! We've just celebrated a similar birthday situation - only with cupcakes!!! Gotta love girly parties!
Posted by: Leanne Allinson | 05/04/2010 at 04:35 AM
Oh I love everything; the cupcakes, the tissue pom poms, the lollipops, the flowers. How can I make my son's 7th birthday party look so adorable? He's having a Star Wars themed party this Saturday, 14 kids are invited and it's due to rain! I'm thinking I could make some tissue pom poms and pretend they're planets - I could get away with that right?
Posted by: Jo | 05/04/2010 at 07:52 AM
