yes, that's right...today i got the urge to scrap
just for FUN. just for the heck of it...i wanted to!
no deadlines driving me, no "gotta do its", i just wanted to make something.
i take that as a good sign that the creative gene is coming back.
and thank goodness, it's about time!!
journaling:
when did you turn into the girl i see in these photos? when did you lose the baby talk...the chubby cheeks and elbows? when did you stop needing me as much? when did you lose that pot belly? since when are you such a big girl?
cardstock, butterflies- JBS
flowers- martha stewart
letters- jillibean soup (yellow), american crafts (red)
pearls- basicgrey
labels- twogirlzstuff (etsy).
happy monday!

Great page! Love the bright colors. That's an adorable bathing suit she is wearing! Is it from Target? We are bathing suit crazy in this house. Each girl has between 5-10 suits!

i wrote you this long post. i hint post and then... nothing. :(
okay in a nutshell, I was wanting to know about your scrapbooks.
Wait.
I said first, "Hello, Love that you are scrapbooking just for you."
okay back to the nutshell: I wanted or would like if you would post about this topic. Scrapbooks. What you do, what you really do in real life. You make a page. Where does it go? A pile, a file, a book, or...
(no i was not thinking nook). Do you scrap in order or out of? What do YOUR albums look like inside and out? What does the first page look like ( an entry page?) Are the albums by theme or by year, does the album stop when there is no more room or when the year ends?
This nutshell is getting long- okay so lastly - often for my job i have to make layouts with some paper that might not be what i pictured for the picture (you follow?) As you might have to do at times. So now what do you do with them, use them anyways, put them aside in another random album or what? oh one more!! what about mini albums, what do YOU do with them. I love to make them, but it can be a lot at times. Wait do you even make mini ones?

Oh - yay you for scrappin' for fun! That's always such a good feeling!
Second, when you posted those photos, I thought the exact same thing! I said to myself, oh man, that Harper no longer looks like a baby or toddler, she is turning into a beautiful little girl - so much more mature looking. It just happens so suddenly sometimes.

I love this page. Gorgeous. So glad the urge to scrap is coming back for you!
Posted by: Tiffany | 07/06/2010 at 12:14 PM
Just lovely, must scraplift ;-)
So glad your urge to scrap is back. Now if mine would come back too (and I'm not pregnant but I am chronically sleep deprived thanks to my 10 month old twins -- hope I'm not scaring the bejezus out of you by saying that!)

Love the colours on this lo, Stephanie. Also the flowers across the bottom. And of course, the gorgeous photos of Harper. Glad you're doing the post on your scrapbooks sometime, as suggested by Jamie. I'd love to know all that stuff too =)
And because I haven't said it yet, congratulations on two more little girls to add to your family! Can't wait to hear their names. I argued hard for Sadie when we were expecting our second...your Sadie inspired me. She's cute as a button and I love the name! We had a boy, though! ;)

Stephanie this is lovely!! I can totally relate with losing the creative feeling in pregnancy, because I am going through the same thing! And also I totally understand and relate with your sentiments about Harper. I step back and look at my Creedence (who is almost 3) and can't belive how big she is. So changed, and so independent. So much personality, and determination. She is getting real tall so her little belly is almost gone! She is just truly not a baby anymore!
