monday marked the beginning of princess ballet camp for miss h. it's just a week long thing, but she is in HEAVEN!!!

each and every morning, she demands that i take photos of her to "send daddy". and each morning, she takes FOREVER to pick out her outfit, the tiara that matches best. she is so so funny. and particular!

here she is the first day...

i have to say that when i uploaded these they took my breath away, b/c i think she looks a lot like me in some of them. i've always thought she looks like jimmy, but in these...something about her (her mouth i think, her hair??) she looks like me. and it made me want to cry.

i love her so much!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and then these are from today.

it was SO humid outside...every photo looks like it's a glamour shot or something..with that hazy, foggy filter.

   

but my absolute favorite part was that sadie BEGGED me to take her "picher".

she was very serious while she arranged herself and then this was her pose.

 

uhhh really sadie? this is the best you can do?

harper was screaming "LOOK LIKE A PRETTY PRINCESS, SADIE!!"

"PUT YOUR HANDS ON YOUR HIPS!!!"
"TILT YOUR HEAD!!!"
"SMIIIIIIIIIILE!!!"

but no such luck. this is the sadie we all know and love.

and oh, i love love love that cleft in her chin. just like her daddy's. i love seeing pieces of him in my girls, when he is gone and i'm missing him.

haahha!

favorite quote of the day is this.

h: why do we have to go to tot town tomorrow?

me: because it's time for me to go see the doctor again.

h: WHY?

me: to check on the babies!

h: WHY?

me: to see if they are getting bigger, to make sure they are okay!

h: oh, i'm sure they are okay, mama...i KNOW they are getting big! you have been eating so so so much food!

Ahhhhhh, the joys of motherhood!!! Thank you for sharing! My first husband died when my girls were 6 and 21 months. I love and cherish seeing glimpses of him in each one of them. OMG! First of all, that shot of Sadie made me laugh. out. loud! My boys are teenagers now, but used to be exactly the same as your girls: my oldest would pose for me anytime and my youngest would never cooperate, even if I begged and bribed! I have a lot of photos of him that look like Sadie's!

OH! I ran into TWO sets of twins (ages 8 months and 13 months) in line at Home Depot today. I thought it was crazy that they were there at the same time. So fun! The twin boys were Colton and Paxton. Then the b/g twins were Scout and Sawyer. :-) We had SO much fun talking, and I totally thought of you! :-)
