J asked me how many readers I have. And I truly don't know! I mean, I can make an educated guess...sitemeter tells me a bit.
But I don't think it includes subscribers (in other words, those of you who get my blog posts in your inbox and then don't have to actually click on my blog).
Here's where you come in. Leave a comment on this post. Well, If you want to. I'm not going to force anyone. Ha!
Tell me how you found me, or what you are doing this weekend, ask me a question you'd like answered, give me a topic you'd like me to blog about... or anything at all. Just say hi, if you are so inclined!
I'm so excited to meet all of you. I truly have the best blog readers in the world...so many of you say you never comment b/c I could never possibly read them all, and that's not true!
I have my comments sent to my inbox and read each and every one of them.
And trust me, I need something to read on my iPhone when I'm feeding the babies all night long (sidenote: the iPhone has revolutionized nursing for me. HA!)
Happy happy Saturday! xoxo
Wave wave wave from a reader. I adore your blog and your girls and your pages and your hubby. Thank you both for your service to our country.
I have three girls that are spread out and you always amaze me with three all bunched in closely. You do amazing with them. I love how you let us peek into your heart and your scrapbook pages wow!
You have brought me to tears so many times I have lost track. I get excited for you and sad for you when you get scared or lonely and sometimes, well sometimes I understand exactly how you feel. Thank you for being so honest in your blogs. It is refeshing to see someone else out there in the world with a real life. Cause sometimes when you are peeking into someones life via blog they seem to have the perfect hub, perfect kids, perfect home.
One tip on figureing out how many of us are out here, my guess is close to a thousand if not more cause that is how much you rock, is to subscribe to your own blog via google reader and then you can click info at the top and it will tell you how many other people subscribe to the blog. :)
Oh and those babies with hair...your right I can't resist them.

Hey there!
I started ready your blog a couple of years ago. I've commented a couple times. I p/u your blog through Google Reader - so that wouldn't show in your counts, right? I think I found you through some scrapbooking website/design team/2 peas - something like that. Enjoy time with the lttle ones.

Hi Stephanie, I have been blurker for a couple of years now, although I have left some random comments here and there. I live in Australia with three littlies so I enjoy reading about your family and I love your scrapbooking as well. But more than this your heartfelt journally stirkes a chord with me. I wish I could be as brave. I am working on it. Have a great week.
PS That is some wild hair Miss Lucy has:)

I'm guilty of being a Blurker lol, I saw an interview of you on The paper Life's blog, loved your Scrapbooking style and saved your blog, after reading your posts and getting to know about you and your lovely family, your blog became part of my fav list, and to date it is one of the few blogs I check daily.
Sorry I don't comment much, I'm kind of a shy and quiet follower lol but know that I am a fan of your Scrappy style because it provides loads of inspiration to me and I would also like to Congratulate you and your hubby for your 4 beautiful girls :) :) :) :)

I love watching your kids grow up and I was also pregnant last year and had a baby girl Nov 3 so I really liked reading about your pregnancy.

I love your blog. I found it sometime last summer. I was looking for stuff to do in Tybee Island, GA bc we were going on vacation there for the first time. And you came up in some search. Not sure what all I found out about Tybee, but I sure love reading your daily blog. I also love your scrap pages. I also scrap book and I love how you journal in your own handwriting. I want to do that better. I also love your more casual photos....that is meant in a nice way. I seem to take more staged or posed photos and LOVE your layouts with the daily things just happening naturally.....I will be with you as long as you keep up the blogging!!!! Thanks for sharing all you do!!!

hi there girlie! a day isn't a day without your blog! i just love it! i love your honesty, your wit, your photos & stories, love your sb style & the journaling always kills me (but in a good way). i have followed you for so long i don't even remember how i found you. maybe from the 2p's days. i've also won one of your goodie boxes that you put together as "extra stuff". so sometimes even when i'm scrappin i remember or see something that was in that box & get all giddy inside. love ya girl...all the way from montana!

I just found your blog today from a comment at blueeyrdbride.com. The term blurker makes me laugh. Enjoyed strolling ur blog on this snowday in Alabama. I'm cuddled up in my bed with my iPhone, diet pepsi and a great book while my 3 kids watch cartoons. This amazing, rare break has got to come to an end, as it is time to prepare dinner. I'm going to start following!

Stephanie...I feel like I comment ALL the time, but I am commenting here again so I'll be "counted" and maybe entertain you for a moment! I remember those late night/early morning nursing moments...I was able to email on the computer with my youngest who just turned 5 1/2! Where does the time go?? It goes way too fast! I can so relate to being shirtless while nursing especially with my oldest...she's 9!! I need to record these things when you remind me of them! You are a HUGE inspiration! You are funny and kind and descriptive and creative and I love reading what you write and seeing the pictures you share!! Thanks for all that you share...it's so nice to know I'm not the only one that's not having a "perfect" day. :) I also appreciate my girls more after reading your blog...you remind me what's important! I appreciate my husband more too! THANK YOU!! Angie

hi stephanie! i confess to being a blurker. :) i found you on 2peas a couple yrs ago and would follow your gallery postings, more recently i subscribed to your blog. love visiting your blog because you are real (i've thought back often to your post on how you spend time and how it is impossible to 'have it all together' - SO needed to read that!), you have great taste & style, the love for your family is inspiring and heartwarming, you write in a way that is super entertaining, and seeing your scrapbook layouts is like reading the diary of someone you admire. :)

Hi Stephanie!
I guess its time to confess, for the most part im a lurker :P but i have to say, that im a faithful reader and follow your blog religiously ..I first found your it when I signed up for Kelly Purkey's Sketchbook 1 class, so I guess for about a year now...and then I started following your work on SC...from then on in I was hooked!! Its funny how even though weve never met, i feel like we could sit down and spend hours and hours chatting away :) There is something so inspiring about reading your blog and if im ever having a down day or having a pity party for myself, your blog helps me realize the situation, dust myself off and get back up and going! So thank you very much!!

I am not sure how I found you but you are my favorite. I have been sick a while and your blog makes me feel not quite so lonely. I love and crave babies even at 57. Thank you for sharing your memories that are probably pretty close to many others. I love the smiles, the reality, the love, the openness, the reality of military families, the gratitude, the belonging to something outside my little world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Kisses to all of your little ones.

I can't remember how I found your blog, but I scrapbook and enjoy checking your blog out and seeing what you are scrapbooking and also how your little family is doing.
I am awake in the middle of the night too. My husband is TDY and just had a call from my baby, who is 20 to say she arrived safely in Amsterdam. She is headed to Vienna, Austria for a semester of study abroad. Maybe I can go back to bed and sleep now, knowing she is almost there. So enjoy reading your blog--you are a wonderful inspiration to young mums out there.

I just started reading blogs. I was introduced to bloggers by my sister-in-law. We have a two things in common: one, I'm asking myself the same question, if I want another child; two, the iPhone has changed my nursing experience, also. Thanks for sharing your part of world.

I am a blurker! I found you through Katy S.'s blog (in Waco, TX). I couldn't believe it when I first saw your picture because I know you!! You and my husband, Shane, worked together at Sea N Ski during college. You cracked me up then and you crack me up now! I love that you keep it real - so nice to see!
Now you know another blurker out there!

I know I am a little late to the party, but just wanted to let you know that I read your blog everyday. I started reading 8 months ago when I joined SC and I always look forward to your blog posts. I love how you are so open and willing to share your life with your blog readers, the good and the not so good. You help me realize that I am not alone as a mom of young ones and help me to feel not so bad when I show up at work with my top on inside out. Yes this has occured, and no you do not want to know how many times ;) (PS I loved the top story and the slipper story from a few days ago! Glad to know that I am not the only mom that this has happened to!)

Hi there, my name is Amanda Muirhead and I'm guilty of being a blurker! I read your blog when I'm eating lunch at my desk and one hand is usually working on feeding me and the other is busy scrolling with the mouse so I don't get to comment. I heard of you... oh I can't even remember now but I love your style and so I bookmarked you. Your style is completely opposite of me.. mine is floofy and flowerly and way too much 'stuff' on the page but I completely admire your style but I can't seem to make it work for me... so instead I come here and lurk you! I have a 5 year old daughter so I enjoy reading about your girls and their antics...it always puts a smile on my face :)

Hi! I found you through CK and Studio Calico.
I've commented a few times since I've found your blog. I always loved getting to see pictures of your growing family. I love your style of LO's and think you are really talented.

Hi Stephanie! I've been reading your blog for a few months now. I found you through Studio Calico and I love to read about you and your cute girls (I have boys..). You are totally inspirational- on paper and in real life. I really admire you. When my hubby and I were dating he wanted to join the army (he couldn't because of some medical issues) and I am a bit ashamed to admit, I was relieved when he didn't. But I'm extremely grateful to the men who do and the amazing women like you that support them. Thanks!

You are amazing. I just finished reading your 1/12 post . . . you don't have to decide right now if you are done. When my 4th child was 2, DH said he was done. I cried for weeks because I knew there was one more child waiting for our family. But I worked on accepting it . . . and when I did I found out I was pregnant. Cannot imagine our life without #5. He ended up coming via unscheduled c-section. On the way to the OR the doc asked if I wanted her to tie my tubes. What? Right now? Um, um, um . . . thankfully DH chimed in NO. But then that left me wondering if he wanted even more. We feel complete now and won't have anymore, but sometimes I still wonder . . .
Enjoy your girls. They are so adorable. Thank you for sharing your heart with us blurkers :)

I found you through 2Peas folks' blogs I follow. I have a four year old daughter and a three year old son and could relate to your posts. I love scrapbooking, but am so far behind in documenting my children's lives and feel overwhelmed and can rarely find the time to really sit down and create. I teach full time so a lot of my creative energy goes into creating lessons that will engage my middle school students and that leaves very little left for recreational purposes. Anyway, I loved following your pregnancy with the twins and I love to read updates on everyone.

Hi Stephanie,
Just saw this post and though I am not a commenter, since you asked I guess that makes me a lurker you can count...
Followed a link to your site from another one because I liked your blog name. I am not a scrapper but you take lovely photos and I enjoy your writing and sense of humor as a fellow mom (I have 3).
Congratulations on the babies and I hope it brings you happiness to learn how many people enjoy your blog.

But then when I check my blog to see who's commented I wish blurkers WOULD comment even if it's just to say "Hey I appreciate you sharing your life with us"...with that I'm here saying "Hey I appreciate you sharing your life with us.". You just make my days better. I love how your life has changed since I found you on another blogger's favorites list a few years back. Now that my three children are grown with families of their own, I look at your pictures, read your funny, charming posts, and remember the past when they were all little and how much fun and hectic our life was. Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with everyone. God bless you.

Hi Stephanie--Just catching up with your blog & wanted to add my name to your list of loyal (although not daily) readers.

I found your blog a long time ago--can't remember how but my boyfriend was deployed and I remember relating to your posts about Jimmy's deployments. In August my boyfriend, who became my fiance, passed away from a heart attack and now I read your blog to make me laugh and for a good dose of cuteness. Reading your mommy stories makes me really hope that I'll be blessed with a family of my own someday. But as you said, it's all in God's hands.

Hi Stephanie, I have been away for a couple of weeks & only today am I catching up on all the posts I missed out on over Christmas, when my life was hectic, and afterwards when we went away. I have been reading your blog for at least a year of two now. It is one of my favourites (and I follow about 50 blogs regularly) but if short on time in a week you can be sure I will visit you & Liz Kartchner, because you girls are so lovely. I have left you a few comments before but often do think that you get so many that mine might go unnoticed then I don't leave one - sorry! I love that you are so honest & open with your thoughts & that you are so much like me with your kids. I also have 4 (2 boys & 2 girls) and have poured my heart & soul into raising them & being the best wife & mother I could be aswell as crafting & telling my story through scrapbooking just like you. I also love your simple style of scrapbooking & your journaling is always so touching. I live in South Africa but am actually Zimbabwean ( another African country just North of South Africa), am 43 & have only lived in SA for 5 years now. I found your blog through Journaling Junkie when you did a guest design post there & I was designing for them at the time. That was a beautiful layout - I still remember it well. Anyway, this comment is far too long but you did ask to know a little more about your readers! Oh & lastly, on the baby thing (having more or not) I was just the same & had to really fight the urge to have more (I had my last at 33 as well) & had the op 6 months after my youngest was born. I wanted to leap off the bed right up until I was under anaesthetic but I forced myself to do it for the sake of my kids - so that I could give them the time, attention & money that would be required to raise them & I have had no regrets. My kids have had a great life so far & I have been blessed not to have to earn an income to support them for the last 10 years. Just my own experience although I would love for you to have more babies hee hee...bye for now!

Hi! I'm Alexandra and I think I came to know you through one of Ali Edwards' tweets.
I have twins - they are now 7 (very close to 8!) so I was thrilled to see your new wee ones :)

Well, I have found your blog through Studio Calico about 2.5 years ago..... love reading your posts and your everyday thoughts. I'm so glad I got to meet you IRL this month, and I am sure I am not the only one wanting to meet you... I am amazed by the number of Steph blog readers are out there! Hope you are doing well!

I introduced my twin sis, Jen, to your blog a year or so ago. LOVE your style and seeing your twins! We celebrated and called each other when we heard the news about your babies! I always hop over from her blog createoften.blogspot.com since she has you listed under her favorites. I remind her that I found you first! ;o) hehehe! HUGS!

I'm a little late in commenting but wanted to let you know that I am a reader of your blog. Your family is just so beautiful. You are a very blessed woman. I have a 9 month old daughter, Harper (!), and I just love her to pieces. I am stuck in the emotions of not wanting her to grow up because I always want her to be me little baby and then being excited about her embarking on new exciting things like walking and talking. Oh, and the iPhone is also my saving grace during late night nursing sessions (of which there are still several, sigh). I am a relatively new scrapbooker (started 6 months ago) but I am always turning to blogs and scrapping websites for inspiration. I found you through Studio Calico and I absolutely love your work. Thanks for sharing.
