this weekend was fantastic for several reasons. chiefly among them...j came home after a few weeks away! it was a GORGEOUS weekend, after a dreary rainy week.
i just love being together as a family on the weekends. why do they pass so quickly, though?
here's our weekend in iPhone photos:
l to r, top to bottom:
1.first time the babies ever kept sleeping after we brought them in the house! 2.stretching before our family walk. 3.sadie sleeping on daddy after a bad dream 4.blue moon with an orange slice at forsyth park. 5.j+all four of his girls- oh how his life has changed! :) 6.the greening of forsyth fountain 7,8. girls+j in bed earrrrly a.m. 9.drink for baby, drink for mommy. hee! 10.lucy+mama 11.my new bag came from gussy sews! 12.bigs reading to littles 13.treasures from the resale shop 14.me and my girls at forsyth fountain
and just because this might very well be my favorite iphone photo of all time...i have to share it in full size:
i can't even put into words how happy this makes my heart. they were over the moon he was home. when he first comes back from a trip, they just can't/won't leave him alone. it's awesome.
i hope you have a beautiful, blessed monday!
xxo

How funny! I just noticed that we have the same quilt on our bed! We just got it at Target a couple of weeks ago and LOVE it! We have the reverse side up, though. I am totally into gray and yellow together.
Glad you all had such a wonderful weekend.

So glad you had a wonderful weekend with your hubby. :) Mine was home all week and weekend and it was so nice. A nice glimpse of the not too distant future.
Love the photos! Which app do you use? I see this design on a lot of your photos and like it a lot.

Great weekend photos. gorgeous photo of the babes sleeping in their car seats...they look like dolls, pink cheeks and all! Always love the ones where papa is asleep with the kiddos too...LOVE the bag...is that your diaper bag???? Gorgeous too! and of course, the photo of you with the two biggies by the fountain reminds me of a photo I have with my parents way back "when"= fond memories for sure....these will be precious photos for the girls to look back on when they're older, love how you still make the time to capture these all important moments! tfs:)

your pictures are oozing with love, so happy you have J back for a bit! And also my husband would like to thank you for getting me hooked on Red Velvet. The closest World's Market is an hour from us and our local stores carry all the Cupcake wines BUT Red Velvet lol! Luckily we also buy our coffee from there so I might just be able to sneak there soon. I blame you...but in a good way. :)

i love when my fella comes home...seeing him reconnect with the kiddo and that illusive deep, sound sleep just magically reappears. awesomeness.
love this post, makes me miss our weekend dates at forsyth park and vinny van go-go's. i'm totally living vicariously through ya girl!
