journaling:
3/11 I feel like I'm just starting to get a hang of this mom to four thing & I want to learn so much. how to sew, quilt, knit... & I love listening to Mumford & Sons right now & I try my hardest to be patient and kind & I see my girls growing right before me & I dislike being so hard on myself & I believe in the Lord & I adore this crazy, wild, scary, lovely life.
so i've been on a kick using these awesome plastic doilies i got from jenni bowlin..they are sold out now. :(
anyway, i've been using them for misting masks on my papers. on the layout i shared today, i used one of the small doilies.
here's a sneak of another layout i did using the big one, this is for the SC blog later this month:
i'm having so much fun with them. they are taking me a bit out of my comfort zone and i love that!
i hope you have a beautiful, blessed Sunday!

Great page. I think you would be a wonderful quilter - your style with paper will transfer well!

LOL! I was wondering before how you misted that scallopy design with a paper doily! Now it makes sense!

Lovely page Steph and just a wonderful little insight into your thoughts that your girls are going to treasure someday (and maybe duke it out over so you better make more! LOL). Happy Sunday!

only you and your beautiful pages could tempt me to scrapbook. Thankfully I can resist the temptation! Wish we were closer so we could "sew" together!

You?? Not comfortable with doilies???? WHAT??
The layout is beautful!
I agree with whoever said it above me, you will be a spectacular quilter!! Your vision with paper will just make the most gorgeous out of the "box" quilts!

Wow first stamping, now misting....what's next? maybe some zinging? lol, love this page. I think for me it's just I'm a lazy scrapper. Having to search my stash is hard enough with out having to add another step. But I think that misting looks great. And I love those plastic doilies.

LOVE Mumford and Sons! My 7 year old bought it for my birthday and he has not stopped listening to it yet (we copied it for him without #7 though lol). If we listen in the car I have to edit ;)
