as much as i love places like anthropologie...i ain't shopping there, sister.i wish, but no such luck!
i'll be the first to admit, i'm a total prep. i favor polka dots, florals, dark jeans, flats, pearl earrings, bows, etc. super prep. haha!
i invest in nice jeans, handbags, and shoes...but for the rest, i go the more affordable route.
:)
i shop at:
ann taylor loft
kohl's
old navy
charlotte russe
forever 21
downeast basics
target
and there are so many cute affordable things you can find these places...ESPECIALLY this time of year.
i treated myself to the old navy items from the above mosaic, and i love them. especially the dot cardigan...it's adorable! and on sale right now!
in other 'ashion news...harper informed me recently that she wants me to tape an 'ashion series. first up, apparently, is dresses.i am already laughing imagining her 'tips'.
cannot. wait.
happy wednesday!!

I had that polka dot cardigan in my hand...then put it down. I may need to go back and get it.
Love your fashion pics. Love this time of year. I hope you will share whatever else you add to your wardrobe.
Happy March!

Okay, before I read your entire post, my first thought was, "This is so 'ashion!" Enjoy your new finds, Stephanie. Only wish Spring weather would come to the northeast so that I can start thinking about Spring 'ashion.

I have been a long time "lurker" on your blog. Your posts come to me in email everyday and they are the one piece that I open IMMEDIATELY! I just wanted to say, after reading about you and your beautiful family for over a year now...I would so be your friend! :) I agree 100% with your take on child rearing, frienships, family, loud and obnoxious people at Chucky Cheese :). Your blog makes me laugh every day and more importantly, it reminds me about all the really great small stuff that happens in our lives that we sometimes forget. My kids are 17 and 14 now and I so miss the days when they were young and home. I live vicariously though you these days :) So, thanks!

Cute outfits! I shop at Target and Kohl's too. I used to be so in style all the time. Then I had kids. Now I can't stand the 30 minute drive to the mall, so I pretty much have a limited wardrobe. I do splurge in the summer - love summer clothes. I wish I had your fashion sense though. I would love to be stylish again! But my two oldest daughters are 13 and 11, and to them a mom just cannot be stylish!

You should also check our Shopruche.com - cute stuff for pretty cheap especially when there are good sales, and I just found this place called LuLus.com - and they have some cute stuff, some a bit too teenagery for me, but classic pieces are important.
I absolutely love the dark skinny jeans from Forever 21 these are my favorite, and they are only $10.50 - http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog_name=FOREVER21&category_name=btms_jeans&product_id=2069482248&page=1&trend=&fit=&pgCount=25

So cute. I love Harper's ashion sense. Maybe she can come over and go through my closet -- I am ashion challenged.
As for the last post. My sis-in-law said it best when she had a caesarean and someone said "Hh that's too bad, you must be disapponted that she wasn't born naturally." My sis-in-law retorted: "Why do you say that. Did you think I knit my baby or ordered her online from Wal-Mart? Of course they were natural?"
