good morning y'all!
i thought that on thursdays i'd start sharing some of my favorite pins from my pinterest boards. short, sweet, and hopefully...uhhh...pinspirational? HA!
doily easter basket via martha ...how sweet are these? i won't have time to get to them this year, but i'm totally keeping them on file for the future.
umbrella wreath from family chic. WOW. how did i not think of this? i am 100 percent doing this this summer. love it.
doily lantern from ruffled. this is awesome. and the best? i already have these lanterns and these doilies! i'd love to put these in our bedroom.
this AMAZING party decor from snowy bliss. let me tell y'all a little bit about anj. she is HANDS down the most creative person i've ever had the pleasure to follow. her children are the luckiest kids in the world, i'm convinced. go to her blog now. bookmark it and check it obsessively, like i do. everything there is incredible.
i credit her with really re-lighting the creative fire in me after i had the babies. i even made jimmy look at her blog. HA!
you must go back and check out her night owl party. i think i looked at her blog for hours the first time i went. did i mention i kinda love her?
paint chips easter garland from ohdeedoh
easy+fun=love
LOVE these colors together, via poppytalk
paper wreath from two girls being crafty. i have a slight wreath obsession on pinterest. note to self:start wreath board. if i have a board for doilies, i need one for wreaths.
angry bird cupcakes from the crafting chicks. i love these, they are HILARIOUS. must make them and throw them at j while he is finishing all the levels on my iphone w/out asking me (still bitter).
mason jar chandelier from boots n' gus shop- etsy. need. need.
new spring clothing from boden. i want every single thing in their new catalog. it's ridiculous, really.
paintbrush vase from country living. brilliant
that's it for today, hope there's something here for everyone! oh- if you get a chance, pick up the newest southern living. there is an article on savannah in there, it's fabulous. i'm pretty excited that i've been to almost everywhere in the article!
have a beautiful, blessed thursday
xo
Those Angry Birds cupcakes are hilarious! :)

I LOVE Pinterest, but have barely looked on it because I just get so sucked in.....

OH thank you for these links. I love to collect crafty blogs that I get inspiration from. I want to do everything I see but I rarely do anything! I keep thinking stalking the blogs will make me actually do them!

Cute umbrella wreath! My grandmother would have loved your decorations. she loves doilies and loved to make her own things instead of buying them. She had seasonal decorations and went all out for every holiday. (Too bad I didn't inherit the creative gene!!).

I'm so not a girly girl, but all this pink/doilies/and all around floofiness is making me want to be :)
I'm a sewing fanatic so I will totally be making one of those owls (I did small versions as ornaments this year) and the Angry Bird cupcakes will be a hit with the munchkins this weekend!!

i have many of the same things pinned :)
and the spring boden catalog? i should just dog-ear the pages that i DON'T like. it would take less time.
i missed the paintbrush vase...love that. thanks for sharing. i think it's a great idea!

Love this post! Two things: Love your new header!!! and my hubby and I are looking for a nice four day getaway, somewhere semi warm, maybe in June or late May. I was considering Savannah, based on what I've read in your blog about the area. What would the temperature be about that time of year and do you have any sight seeing "must-see's"???

I love the new Thursday theme! I've never heard of Pinterest before but I am now dying to make that garland! If I get busted snagging paint swatches this weekend I will be blaming it all on you. HeeHee! Is it a "how-to" type site? I love the blog makeover! And how dare your husband do that! That is so wrong!!
Posted by: Rebecca B. | 04/07/2011 at 01:44 PM
I think i will make the umbrella wreath for the kids at the daycare center where i work.
It will be great for a summer theme.
Thank you very much!!!

oops, i meant fave...dumb auto-correct!
Posted by: juls | 04/08/2011 at 12:13 AM
*can i just say i hate auto-correct! i tell my girls that HATE is a strong word and to only use it when trying to convey a true feeling of HATE. for example i hate racism or i hate tax time etc. but i truly HATE auto-correct... :P
just ignore my mistakes, please and thank you!

Oh Stephanie, I love all the pictures you've shown. And Boden, well received a Gypsy top in the post today, had to put it on immediately! Off to check out some of those links! Jo (England)

Thanks for sharing the inspiration. I see hours of time spent reading the blogs. Have a great day!
Posted by: Sherried | 04/08/2011 at 07:09 AM
Ha I'm a Boden fan too- in fact I've gotten out all my summer tunics from last year. In my avatar on SC I'm wearing the washed velvet coat I stalked for weeks to get my size after it went on clearance :) My daughter thought I was crazy but it worked. My daughter tore out the same paint brushes vase from CL. Have you seen the British Country Living? They sell it at Barnes and Noble and it's to die for- inspiration overload for sure! Cute ideas you have here!

Thanks for sharing all those links, Stephanie. Now I have lots more projects /ideas to add to my "someday I'll make this" file! Love the new blog look. So nice and springy! I enjoyed the article on Savannah in SL...and as it happens, my sister and her family are spending Spring Break there this week. They have really enjoyed it and will definitely plan another visit. Since they live in SC it's not that far of a drive.
