the bow was made using the strip from the bottom of a sheet of the AC patterned paper.i cut the flowers from this sheet of AC PP...you'll see it later cut in a different way.

i love this paper. i really do. you can also find it in more patterned paper, since the add-ons tend to sell out quickly.

the title work is actually cut from a sheet of patterned paper as well! it's called daytime digits and you can find it in more add-on patterned paper.

our summer to do list

yes, that's the exclusive stamp from the main kit! i used chicken feed ink.

i really wanted to scrap this list. it kind of goes along with the "we go" blog post i did a while back.

i LOVE sassafras starters papers. i use them as the bases of layouts quite often. they are just such a nice change from cardstock!

i like how this one has the random "5" on it. i didn't even notice until after the page was done, but it works perfectly since there are 5 of us this summer.

keep your eyes peeled this week for some 4th anniversary challenges on the SC blog. this layout goes along with one of them!

LOVE that chevron stamp. i stamped the six with the stamp and lemon drops ink and cut it with my slice.

the rest is pretty simple...i did use that yellow AC paper again, and cut it in a circle border instead of flowers. it's a pretty, bright, and versatile piece of paper!

i drag and drop my instagram photos into pages, which is like the mac version of word.
i resize them there and print them. i usually print them up to 4x4 or so.

Wonderful layouts, Stephanie! The Sleep Time Cate is just precious. Made me recall when my kids would fall asleep in the Exersaucer. Now that I am a scrapper, I really wish I had taken more pictures of everyday moments but back in the day of film, my mindset was different!

Caz: there is no secret that I will bite back to her. I have done so publicly & gotten my hand slapped for it. I will do it again, if need be. She isn't going to run over me like she does other people. I dont take that crap in my everyday, and I won't take it from her online.

Alli: honestly, I used to never see eye to eye with her. I thought she was opinionated just to be spiteful. Since watching her on the board and learning more of what she does in real life, I think she is quiet smart - and she just comes across as a know it all. I don't think she intends to be. I also think she gets dumped on, when in reality, if anyone else said the same thing, they would get a pass. Alli also got major points in my book when she replied back to Caz (when Caz was complaining about the stamps on Ebay).

April: I think she tries hard & wants to keep the message board happy. It irritates the hell out of me that things get swept under the rug when things go wrong. The lady who posted a complaint the other day (sorry, cannot remember her name) and got shamed....that was just wrong. Should it have been handled better? You bet. But to Aprils credit, she did not delete the thread when others asked her to.

Stephanie: I won't smack her. Is she perfect? Absolutely not. Do I agree with how she handles things in real life and on her blog? Nope. I think she has finally realized that she isn't going to please everyone and to screw the rest. Good for her. Since I am being honest (and I know I am going to get smacked about all of this) she did something for me several years ago that puts her on a pedastal FOREVER in my book. I think she is picked on - for whatever reason - and she is an easy target. I just know she has a bigger heart than probably anyone I know.

There you have it. I am done explaining and defending. I shall go back to the shadows, making crap pages, writing on a blog that no one reads. And I am ok with that. :)
