today i have the coolest products to share with you...journals by gadanke.
when katie from gadanke contacted me wanting to share her product with my readers, i was blown away by them. i LOVE every one of them, i really do. i love that they are modern looking, yet a bit vintage. they have a quirky, fun vibe and i knew right away that this would be something y'all would like.
mini books usually are not my thing. they scare me a little bit. ;)
but the way these books are set up makes it so easy to create. inside there are prompts to help you along.
i ordered the love where we live journal because i thought that we move so much, i forget details of "home" very quickly. i wanted to document our home right now, at this stage in our family's lives.
you know i love small businesses. and i love buying handmade. one of my favorite parts about companies like gadanke is the fact that they incorporate so many personalized touches.
here's what i got in the mail:
how awesome is that? talk about a happy mail day!
i've been slowly filling my journal with photos, thoughts, and other bits and pieces.and i'm finding myself loving the process. i think i'm going to need one of these for each home we have.
there are spots for daily schedules, photos, anecdotes, keepsakes, spots to document your town.
here's a few glimpses of what it looks like so far:
and now a little bit about gadanke from katie:

I watched her "About" video and cried my eyes out ... the reasons she listed are EXACTLY why I journal! Anne Frank was such an inspiration to me as a teenager and even more so now that I'm an adult. And my grandmother ... who just died last month...couldn't remember her story either. Thank you for spotlighting such a lovely woman and her work!

Oh my goodness, that is so wonderful! I so miss stories of when my grandmother would talk to her niece many, many years ago. Lots of great stories that I have forgotten for the most part.
It would make a visit to my mother and aunt even more special to put these things down on paper. I would love (and need to) put these things down for my granddaughters and daughter.
Thanks so much for sharing her product with us!
