nutshell

photos taken in massage chair at airport. harper's facial expressions literally had me in tears. the second one makes me laugh uncontrollably every single time i look at it.

the other day i woke up with BAD hair. bad. you see, i have the kind of hair that isn't curly, isn't straight...i suppose it's wavy-ish. but if i don't blow dry it it looks like i stuck my finger in a socket. it's bad. i had fallen asleep with wet hair, so it was total clown wig territory.

i walked into harper and sadie's room with a straight face and said "doesn't my hair look BEAUTIFUL today???".

harper:(panicked look on her face b/c she never wants to hurt anyone's feelings) oh! ummmmmmmm, yes! yes mama, you look BEUATIFUL!!!!

sadie: (smirk on her face) not so much.

is the difference between my girls.

I look like I've stuck my head in a socket if I do blow dry my hair but it's even worse if I sleep on wet hair so I never shower at night. I love Harper's expression, somewhere between enjoyment, shock and alarm!

Hey, I have that kind of hair too! Have you ever tried a curl enhancer? If I use one of those and one of those gadgets on my dryer that keep the air from blowing a direct shot onto my head, I can make my hair curly like a perm. It's pretty cool.
