double the "peekaboo" head stands
double the sipping:
double the pulling up on EVERYTHING:
if you want to know what i do all day...really only one word describes it.
chase.
i chase, i pick things out of little mouths, i pry things out of little fists. i run,i pull babies off of stairs and out from under tables.
and you know what? those little stinkers go in opposite directions every single time!!!
they sure are giving me a run for my money. and they aren't even walking yet!! but we are dangerously close. :) teetering on the brink of DISASTER!
and my hair? is a lot more gray than it was a year ago.
but i am also 2x happier and 2x more blessed.
happy monday y'all!
xoxo
I enjoy reading about Cate and Lucy so much. I chuckle alot at their cute antics and can only imagine how my mom must've dealt being double-blessed with my twin sister and I.
Your girls are just too precious!

This really reminds me of when my twin boys were small. Lots of work but oh so many lovely memories.

Love this post! And I love the first double pulling up on everything picture. My 14 month old makes the EXACT same "I see you watching me do something that maybe I'm not supposed to be doing, but I'm just going to see if I'm actually not supposed to do it, and if I really am not supposed to do it how long it will take for you to let me know that..." It really is a fun age! Although I can't imagine chasing two....mad props to you!

They are so cute! I can't believe they are almost toddlers! I know what you mean about chasing your children all day. That is pretty much what happens when you are the mom of girls! They have so much energy. But they are so much fun too. Have you read any good books lately?

My mother would always tease me when "Baby" would look between their legs. It's an old wives tale, but it ended up being true for me each time. The tale is "you're expecting again."
The girls are truly a bundle of joy!

I don't use this word often, but those cuties have earned it: ADORABLE!

oh my gosh. Sometimes I like to read your blog when I am feeling very overwhelmed chasing my (one!) 15 month-old around. I don't know how you do it--you must also have double the patience... But those are some seriously cute twins--I love their chubby little legs! SO so precious.

My son's only one month older than your girls and I love reading these posts. I can totally relate and you just reminded me to take a picture of him with his butt in the air. Your idea was even better though - gonna try to get a peekaboo shot tomorrow!

My husband joked that we lived in a gated community when our twins were at this stage, but that's how we handled the chaos! :-) We gated off all the different areas of the house so that I didn't have to be running in opposite directions all of the time! Good luck!

Then there's 'sticking the head into the toilet'. I still remember my son was an inch away from the electrical outlet with my car key. I dove towards him, barely making it in time. Whew. Memories.

That is so funny Stephanie! I just finished The Hunger games a few days ago. I have Catching Fire to pick up at the library. My daughter read the series for 8th grade English and really liked it. I saw the movie preview on Good Morning America. Looks good!

I don't know if you ever confirmed - are they identical twins, or fraternal?

It's such a great phase of life, to watch the babies coming into their personalities and forging into new territory each day. They're beautiful!
