**ETA- I changed the link from a Hulu video to a YouTube video so that all of my awesome international readers can watch too :)**
This gave me goosebumps everywhere on my body and brought me to tears (verge of weeping!) last night.
I wanted to share the beauty with you. Have a beautiful and blessed weekend.
Love you all!
xoxo
He is soooo good! I haven't watched this episode. But I was impressed with him when he sang Stay with her on episode number one AND then that weekend he sang live with her (as did her other guy) on stage (same song) at the Sugarland concert here! OMG - best.concert.ever.

Thanks, Steph. I don't watch this show, but I am so grateful to have our Lord professed in such a beautiful way on national television - a rare thing.

WOW!!! I love that hymn, and especially when it is sung so well and with such emotion. This past Saturday, I attended the funeral for one of my cousins (89 yrs old.). One of her grandsons is an opera singer (AMAZING voice) and several of his friends were there also and their voices really added something special to the service, particularly when we sang How Great Thou Art as the processional.
I haven't been watching Duets but I think I need to start doing so! Thanks for sharing this, Stephanie!

That was really nice. Steph, I would love you to listen to this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlYk2v_kHeg Its Sir Howard Morrision, a very special New Zealand entertainer (who has sadly passed away). He sings How Great Thou Art in a combination of English and Maori, so beautiful. Im sure there is a better recording of it somewhere, the ones from his younger years are much powerful. Im not religious in any way, but Sir Howards version brings me to tears everytime. Its also a very popular funeral song here in NZ, we had it played at my Grandads funeral. (I found this version too, his singing it on live TV during his 80th birthday celebration. He died just a month later. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFvMS7SAeug ).

This is beautiful! I love Jennifer Nettles. They sound so good together! One didn't over power the other. What a great duet and beautiful song. We chose this song for my grandfather's funeral 18 years ago. My mother (who had a beautiful voice) sang along with the singer from the church. It was beautiful. He had a military burial at our Ft. Snelling Natl cemetery. He was a WWII vet. The whole thing was something. The singer from the Church and my mother sang How Great Thou Art and Amazing Grace. TAPS, 21 Gun Salute, the fly over. This song brings back memories of that day.
I have heard Carrie's version too. It is really good! But then, I really like Carrie Underwood as well.
