so let's just say that most of today's fashion trends don't work for me.
colored skinny jeans? make my legs look like sausage stuffed into casing. and i have thin hair so a top knot is impossible.
but not to fear. you may know that i have four little fashionistas, and i make sure that they are up on current trends.
colored skinny jeans:
top knots:
animal prints:
shirt dresses and birds:
feathers:
neon+zig zags
having four girls is so much fun. i dress them in everything i wish i could pull off!
we are headed to west point tomorrow for j's 10 year reunion. i am in the midst of packing, laundering, ironing, and running around like a chicken with my head cut off.
what are y'all up to??
xoxo
Your girls are adorable....I can relate to Sadie! I have one just like her! Same haircut only Kennedy's is brown and many of the same facial expressions. Twins just with different mothers!! I died laughing at the impress Sadie photo....i get the same look ALL.THE.TIME.
Have a blessed day!

they are so adorably 'ashionable! have a wonderful time at the reunion! and good luck with your to-do's! i am in the midst of planning for madeleine's 5th birthday tomorrow (insert bittersweet breaking heart here...how is my baby 5?!?!) and then planning/packing for a church women's retreat this weekend. whew. headless chicken here too!

Oh man, you can totally do a top knot! The secret is to pull it into a high pony tail and then back comb it.

headless chicken in a small apartment ... with three less children ... sad aren't I?! LOL.

I am enjoying the adorable 'ashion show staged by four of the cutest girls ever. I love H and S's poses in the second photo and your girls are also on trend with the super heroes masks. (I died on that one, btw.) I too am not working the skinnies in colors or prints. Not sure what happens when it is not normal denim, but I do know my eyes reject the site. :S Safe travels!

I wish I had girls! I have two boys and the only fashion choices I get are what image is on the t-shirts they wear!

Have fun at West Point! We will be there in June! Enjoy! I am sure the girls are going to LOVE it!

I can totally relate to this! I have a 3 year old that I love to dress. Although she would much rather wear jeans and her Thomas the Train t-shirt. UGH!
Posted by: Kim Ryden | 10/11/2012 at 01:51 PM
Yes, yes and yes! I can't rock the skinny jeans and my 5 yr old has thicker hair than I do. I have so much fun dressing my girls. Although my older girl has some very firm ideas about what to wear! I love seeing what she comes up with!
We're having a rare, relaxing day today. I had oral surgery yesterday, so I'm content just to hang out with the baby and not hurt too much. Appointments, chores, and even fun stuff can all wait until tomorrow!

Your girls have the most expressive faces! Too cute.

OMG, I LOVE that shirt dress and the animal print shoes...I must admit that I love dressing my girls in fun stuff too (while secretly wishing I could wear the same thing without looking like a freak ~ lol). Have a great weekend!

Your daughters are just beyond adorable! My girls are teens, I miss dressing them in all those cute little girl clothes. I sure don't have much say in what they wear these days as highschoolers! Enjoy the 10 year reunion. :)

your girls are always dressed so cute! and you can totally pull off the top knot...i have thin hair too but i bought this donut looking thing at sally's beauty and it matches my hair...a little teasing and wrapping my hair around it and it's good to go.

HOW FUN! Your girls are adorable...thanks for sharing. I never had girls - two boys, now 23 and 18...man time fly's! They do take after me in one way, they both hoard tennis shoes...I bet they each have 20 pair!!

love!! they are always dressed so beautifully!

I have to ask you- do the 2 bigs ever argue about what you are putting on them? If I ever put that shirt dress( which I would choose in a second) in my 5 year olds closet,it would sit there with the tags on it. My vision for her and her vision for herself are so vastly different it makes for a very challenging school morning. I feel like I am the only one who experiences this wardrobe war everyday!

This makes me want to go shopping for my girl. Love all the bright colors. And, as always, your girls are beautiful!

SOOOOO cute! Have to admit, I too, LOVE dressing my girl. LOL.
Hattie and Sadie could be twins! I also got that bird dress for Hattie. She LOVES it. She squeals every time she sees it. LOL. EVERYwhere was sold out though, so I had to drive over an hour (both ways, so not too bad) to the Georgetown Old Navy to get it. SO worth it. ;-)

You could find some mama sized animal print flats at Target...just in case you want in on that fashion bandwagon! I have them a love them!
Posted by: Steph H | 10/15/2012 at 10:51 PM
I recently bought my first pair of animal print flats, my sister hates them. Now that I know that H and S wear them, I feel validated :D
