You guys have heard me talk about Gadanke before.
I'm a HUGE fan of Katie and her journals.
I think everyone needs one of them. I have a few and I treasure them so much.
Not only are they beautiful...they are full of love. And heart.
Here's a little bit about Gadanke:
Gadanke's motto:
celebrate your story!
Document who you are and what you crave and believe. Handmade journaling products at Gadanke are filled with creative writing prompts and tidbits to make you think (and laugh!). These baby books, prayer journals, travel books, and diaries make your writing process more meaningful and fun! Plus they're totally eco-savvy with 100% recycled papers.

If you're interested, here's a piece of my story...
A couple of years ago, NPR's StoryCorp was in town. It was also my grandma's 90th birthday. The two of us decided to hop into the recording studio to capture some pieces of her story. I had all sorts of prompts to help her. The only problem? My grandma couldn't remember. Too much time had passed. Later, my dad turned to me and said, "Katie, I need you to write down your story." I knew he wished he had his mom's stories. So I started writing.
I started wondering about all of the other women who have stories deep inside of them. Gadanke was born with fabulous writing prompts and recycled papers.
Katie sent me the Seeking Grace journal and I love it so much. I write in it now and then, whenever my heart needs to.
Nothing fancy, no pressure. The thing I love about Katie's books is that they are perfect just the way they are. I don't have to add much, or anything at all really.
Here are a few photos of my journal.
Head on over to the shop, Katie has given you guys a special discount code to use.
Discount code:
10% off all journals with the code: SWEETSTORIES
And please, as always, take time to go find Gadanke and say hi. I don't feature shops or women I don't believe in and Katie is no exception. She is lovely and talented and LOVES what she does. Please stop by and tell her you appreciate her!
So excited about this find, Stephanie! I just ordered 2 journals and both versions of the story starter "tickets"! Thanks!!!

Wow - Thank you for this post!
I had never heard of Gadanke... I just seriously wasted {well, I guess I should go with the John Lennon line "Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time"{ a bunch of time looking through the website and enjoying the snippets of other journals. I don't have the funds to order a journal from her, but that's OK - she gave me some creative ideas to make my own little handmade journal more reflective of me, my relationship with Jesus & my hopes/dreams.
Thanks again! Hope you've battened down the hatches for the next storm that's coming to the East Coast!

I have loved those journals for a long time, since the first time you have shown them!
They are so perfect! Someday, I will order a few of them!
I have to go look to see if there is a daddy one, would be perfect for me to have Michael fill one out!
