This year I am doing December Daily for the very first time.
I used the (now sold out) Gossamer Blue kit so I've made sure to link the products for you below.
If you see something I didnt' link or if you have any questions, just ask in the comments and I'll answer there!
I'm planning on sharing my progress weekly. Here's what I've done so far.
December 1- Naval War College holiday ball, snow, book advent, and our elf comes back to visit.
December 2/3- Christmas decor comes out, Santa comes to visit, more Turtle the Elf shenanigans.
December 4- Turtle goes bungee jumping, and BB snuggles.
Didn't have much to add here so I put in an insert containing our Christmas card.
I am loving these Simple Stories divided page protectors, and I am loving doing a DD for the very first time!
I keep a basket of supplies downstairs on my kitchen island and I work on the album each night. That plan of attack is working well for me.
Have a beautiful and blessed Wednesday!
xoxo
It looks so good! I am doing DD for the first time as well and actually took the boot camp class with you over at Gossamer Blue. I was so helpful to me and I am keeping up with my album (so far). :)
I really learned a lot!

Also, thanks for the idea about the Simple Stories page dividers; I think this will be the perfect solution for my DD.

Love your DD. I don't celebrate, but just love looking at your album...

very cute!
I love the concept of december daily and have done it once or twice,
but I decided recently just to print ALL of our Christmas pictures from over
the years and put them all in one big book to be taken out at Christmas time only.
I think that will work well for me, but maybe one day I will do Dec. Daily again!
LOVE YOURS!

Love what you've done. You make it look so easy yet when I try to do something like this I struggle with placement of all the embellishments. For instance, your #2 . . . the butterfly and two little brads . . . perfectly placed if I do say so myself. :) I would have never thought to do that. You have a gift my friend.

my favorite december daily i've seen this year...
Posted by: kate sade | 12/08/2012 at 10:32 AM
don't even have the simple stories stuff but i think you might have inspired me to get some of the product and start. this is a really beginner question....when you use the small 3x4 section dividers....do you print your pictures smaller? do you cut them? if you print them....what size do you print them? i know these are silly.
if you would ever host a CLASS or tutorial....i would come. i am up in Maine...yes, the outpost and would love an excuse to come to newport.
ps...i have 4 children also & with twins as the caboose (who are almost 12 and I can not believe it!). i love reading your blog because it reminds me of all those times. i wished i had blogged to keep the memories for our family. you are so wise capturing and recording the memories.

Love your cover! Also what font did you use for the December Daily over the photo? LOVE it!
Posted by: Michelle V. | 12/09/2012 at 05:07 PM
I do. Since I use Instagram (square pictures) and print from home, they are anywhere from 1.5x1.5 to 3x3.
P.S. I LOVE MAINE! oxxo
