It's no secret that I love shopping. I love fashion and I especially love spring fashion.
You know who else loves those things too? Miss Harper. :)
She is growing like a weed. Her legs and arms are growing a mile a minute and nothing fits her.
I'm waiting for the spring to take her on a little shopping spree, and of course I alread have her wardrobe planned!
Hey, can you blame me? She takes wonderful care of her clothes and really enjoys wearing them. She's a dream to shop with.
Sadie isn't really all that interested in what she wears just yet. I mean, she loves putting outfits together, but doesn't mind wearing hand me downs. So Harper's good taste benefits her, too.
Here's what I found:
1.Button Shoulder Stripe Sweater 2.Long Sleeve Dot Dress 3. Super Skinny Floral Jeans 4.Moto Sweater Jacket 5.Stripy Ruffle Dress 6.Belted Skinny Khakis 7.Striped Heart Tunic Sweater 8.White Denim Jacket 9.Intarsia Heart Sweater 10.Patterned High Tops 11.Ruffle Trim Polka Dot Top 12.Dot Button Skirt 13.Ruffle Tiered Jersey Skirt 14.Black Skinny Jeans 15.Striped Jersey Tie Belt Dress 16.Polka Dot Bow Tie Headband 17.Glitter Stripe Ballet Flat
Fun, no? I'd say God knew what he was doing when he made me a mama of all girls.
TeeHee!
Happy Monday!

Yes, having a daughter is too fun...mine is 13 and although she does fight with me on a lot of things, she will agree to try stuff on and 90% of the time, what didn't look so great on the rack, looks good on her :) Love those choices, and H is just too cute!

Thanks! I have a 6 year old too & have been searching all the websites for her spring clothes. It is a lot of hard work! Do you do this too? There aren't always cute clothes for her age out there in the stores so I'm mostly buying online lately. I still want her to look cute, like a kid but not too babyish, & not too trendy with peace signs.

I LOVE all the stuff with hearts on it and that dot dress is SUPER CUTE!
Have you ever heard of or shopped at Once Upon a Child?
Ours in GReenbay WI is AMAZING!!! I got all name brand stuff that looked brand NEW,
got Ava's entire wardrobe for 80.00. not even kidding!
I got stuff from Gap, Abercrombie, mini Boden, and even an American Girl dress (only 3.00).
most stuff was 6.00, a few things were 7-8. it was AWESOME!
it's fun to shop there because they have it all arranged by pieces and then colors.
so if your kid looks good in yellow, you shop all yellow etc.
tons of cute skirts, shorts, dresses, shirts, jeans.
Just thought I would mention because you can get so much more there and it's all in good shape and name brand!
I LOVE MINI BODEN!

You are quite the old navy/gap shopper! Her outfit in the picture also old navy :) I love love that sleeveless yellow polka dot shirt! It also comes in blue, which would be sooo cute with the green skinny khakis.

Stephanie I have always loved how you dress your little ones. My little one is 9. Do you have any shopping website suggestions for shopping for an older girl without her looking inappropriate. She's very tall so she is a size 12.

I LOVE shopping for my girl too. I also love shopping for my son too mostly because my daughter has an opinion of what she wants to wear (we don't always see eye to eye) but my son...I'm his personal shopper because he'll wear ANYTHING I hand to him. This may sound pathetic but shopping for clothes for my kids is something that makes me really happy in my humdrum life. Like, really happy. I get excited when new lines come out. Crazy excited.

I love summer clothes too! I don't buy my girls a lot for fall or winter, but go crazy in the summer! I mean they could wear something different every day. And we spend a month on vacation at the beach, so all they wear are their many swim suits. Could Harper come and show my girls (and their friends) how to take care of their clothes? Every girl I know gets their clothes so dirty, and doesn't know the definition of clothes hamper. Enjoy buying lots of clothes while they are little. Once they turn 11, clothes get expensive$$$!! At least I still have a little one who is less expensive to buy for. I can't go as crazy as I used too with my 13 and 15 yr. olds. Feel free to share your clothing ideas too. I'm always on the look out for new to buy!

Have you ordered all of this online, or do you also go shop-shopping with H? I'm sure all of this will look great on her (and all the others;) )

I want that gray sweater jacket! Wonder if it comes in my size?

So funny! Today I made a layout about my 7 y.o. daughter's style and she is just the opposite of Harper. She doesn't care what she wears as long as it's not a dress or a skirt. She is a bit of a tomboy and isn't the slightest bit interested in fashion. I would like to see her in a dress now and then but oh well...

I'm a mama of girls too. Mine were spread quite a bit further apart than yours. The older ones loved to dress up the "baby." About a year ago, I took those photos and did a page titled: "My sisters thought I was a doll, so they dressed me up!" Perfect way to use all those cute photos. Your girls are so cute. It's always fun to see what they are up to.

cute picks! We have the Boden dress (stripes and dots) in the yellow/grey combo and it is the softest cutest dress ever! I wish I had bought all of the colors!

I dont. I worry about getting to these sizes because it seems that appropriate things are so much harder to find! xo

Cute!! I just ordered all Hattie's spring/summer stuff because she grew out of everything already! LOL. AND... it's been really warm, so I needed some shorts and tees for her. I ordered from Gap, Children's Place, Crazy 8, and Mini Boden (LOOOOVE!). I'm still waiting on the Mini Boden stuff to arrive, but I'm SOOO excited! :D Never ordered from them before, and I kinda went crazy. I got sick of all her Old Navy stuff falling apart and looking grungy after only a few washes. Bleh. :-p So no ON for us this season. Last year, she fit her stuff from March to November (because it's so warm in TX! LOL!), so I need stuff that will last this time. Hopefully, she won't grow *too* much more and the sizes stick! LOL. ;-)
