Fighting a massive sinus infection. Can't taste or smell a single thing.
Exploring close to home. Because of work, J can't go far right now so we are trying to see what is in our neck of the woods. found this gem just minutes away.
Wishing there were more hours in the day. I'm back to feeling like a hamster on a wheel. Just.Can't.Catch.Up.
Drinking endless lattes that my friend Grazia makes. So good. And only one euro per drink. And the coffee never tastes burnt. :)
Eating fritelle. The delicious fried treats are so unhealthy but so good. And everywhere right now since it's carnevale!
Studying Italian. I've started my first class and I love it. It makes my brain hurt (it's been a L O N G time since I was a student) but it's awesome. And I can now say helpful things like Sono sempre confusa. I am always confused.
Listening to the Frozen soundtrack. On repeat. LET IT GOOOOOO.
Anticipating the Oh Joy for Target collection. It is marked on my calendar. And I have an American shopping liason. :)
Learning about Paris. We had to cancel our Valentine's trip due to work stuff. We've rescheduled (in April) to celebrate our 11 year wedding anniversary...dreaming and scheming. And praying it works out.
Wearing yoga pants and my fuschia NorthFace fleece. No 'ashion for me when it's gray and depressing and cold. Comfort clothes for the win.
Missing Body Pump classes. Due to my new Italian class schedule, I can't do Body Pump any more. And my body and brain miss it.
Holding on to the one day of sunshine we got. It was glorious.
Imagining our summer in my mind. Cinque Terre, Amalfi coast, Sardinia...and the imaginary list goes on and on and on.
Making pretty things using my Gossamer Blue kits.

Are you having as much rain in Italy as we are in the UK? I'm trying to persuade my husband that a few days in the Italian Lakes over the summer is just what we need!

Our 11th wedding anniversary is in April too and we are going to New York! First time to the US for both of us, so we are feeling very excited. Well, I am anyway... my hubby doesn't show his enthusiasm for this sort of thing.
We are waiting for some sunshine here in Portugal. It's been the wettest winter I can remember and enough is enough...bring on the sunshine!

Steph, Have you tried the Duolingo app for learning a new language? I know they added Italian and I used it to work on my very rusty French. It is fun.
Hope you feel better soon from a fellow sinus sufferer!

Thank you for some pictures without snow. Here in Connecticut, we are in the middle of a huge snowstorm. Likely to get over a foot as it's supposed to snow until tomorrow morning. It's white outside right now.

We'll be in Paris in April too! Do you have dates! I would LOVE to do a photo shoot for you, J and all the girls while there! I mean, I'll have the cameras there anyway, so why not?

What a beautiful picture - the last but one. It made me sigh. Life sounds busy but fun with you. Good luck with your Italian lessons, and I do hope you feel completely better very soon.

You MUST include Ravello if you go to the Amalfi coast. One of the most beautiful villages in the world!!

I took Italian in college, I wish I remembered a lick of it... unfortunately I think all the sorority nights whipped my Italian from my memory!! But maybe if we lived there (fingers crossed), it would come back to me!

About the fritelle, I'm agree with you. This is an unhealty food but if you wanna try, you can find the recipe on my blog here:
