2. 23 Words For Book Lovers That Should Exist - Loved this and nodded my head at much of it. Book Sniffing? Guilty!

7. Speaking of hitting it out of the park...have you seen MME's new collections? I can honestly say they are the best they have ever been. WOW. What a joy it's been to watch the success of this company. They are the NICEST and most talented people.

Loving Lately | January

 

1. Color Blindness Isn't Helping Anything - I needed to read this and I needed this reminder. I talked to Jimmy about it and it's something I want to keep in mind...not only in OUR lives, but as we parent.

 

2. Go watch this movie. Now. It's on Netflix and it was absolutely amazing. It made me laugh and cry and I haven't stopped thinking about it yet.

 

3. I'm back on Twitter. I didn't think I'd miss it but I totally did. My old name is gone but you can find me HERE. There's just not a better place for links, witty quotes, etc.

 

4. 36 Times Breaking Bad was the cleverest show on television. I read this and I was immediately in mourning all over again. I.Miss.That.Show.

 

5. Jimmy Fallon Blew a Chance to Date Nicole Kidman. I shared this on my FB page and I've watched it about 100 times since. His face KILLS me. Specifically at 1 min/17 sec. I can't handle it. Y'all...I'm half in love with him!

 

 

 

6. 18 Best Netflix Movies You Haven't Seen. Working my way through this list (see #2) and I agree with almost all the picks.

 

7. What's the Best Book (new or old) You Read This Year? Pinned this a while back and think it's such an interesting list.

 

8. This is my mantra for 2015. I wish more people understood this and embraced this.

Loving Lately.

Today I want to share a couple of items that I am loving lately.

Up first...my Artifact Uprising photo book that I made with my Florence iPhone photos.

AU has a great website where you can make books with any photos...but for this book I used the Artifact Uprising free app and ordered the book directly from my phone.

Amazing quality and EASY to make. Win Win. I'll be ordering these for each trip we make. I hope to have a big basket full of them at the end of our three years here.

The next thing I want to share is this 20 Questions Birthday Interview Blurb book by Nicole Reaves. Cutest.Idea.Ever.

The book has a set of questions that you ask your child on (or close to) their birthday. These are for Cate and Lucy and they go from 3 - 18.

These are going to be such a treasure for them to have one day. And the quality is outstanding. Find out more HERE.

Loving Lately

 

1. New York Fisheyed. Amazing and makes me wish I was there right now.

 

2. Mike Stilkey's painted books. I could stare at these for hours. I can't even imagine how long these took.

 

3. Love all of these Ikea hacks. I am planning on implementing several of them in our new home!

 

4. This video of a supercell thunderstorm gives me goosebumps. It's powerful,terrifying,and beautiful all at once. Sometimes God's creation leaves me speechless and this is one of those times.

5. I love this tutorial by Waleska Neris. This is a fabulous project and another thing that would really suit our new home.

 

6. Brian Williams raps Snoop Dog. I just can't.Even. I laugh so hard every time I watch this.

 

7. 38 Anthropologie Hacks. Whoa. So stealing some of these ideas.

 

8.Daft Punk Get Lucky Chronological Cover. The evolution of Get Lucky through the years. Um, this is super cool and interesting.

 

9. I love this embroidered quote. I want it for my wall...it's something I really try to embrace. Very fitting right now.

 

10. Ikea Paper Shop. I'm just really excited about this. Simple as that.

1. Jimmy posted the link to this article on FB. He never posts anything on FB,so I knew it would be good since he took the time to link it.

Sebastian Junger writes about the burdens of war that our veterans carry. It's heartbreaking and enlightening. I'm a big Junger fan, so I know I'd love this. He didn't disappoint.

Here's a few things that have caught my eye around the web this week.

Great Gatsby sneak peek set tour. I am dying. I have been in love with this time period and this book since I was a little girl. Did you know the Robert Redford version of Gatsby was filmed here in Newport? Can't WAIT to see this. These sets are stunning.

Kendi Everyday. By far my favorite fashion blog. I love Atlantic Pacific too...but Kendi's style is much more doable and attainable. I love everything she puts together. I've loved her outfits this week...think I've pinned all of them.
